The National Weather Service has issued its 3 p.m., advisory:
“We are letting the rest of the Tornado Watch expire at 3 p.m. The majority of the storms have moved east of our area. Again, we cannot rule out an isolated severe storm over inland SW AL and south central AL through this evening as the front moves through, but most areas will likely remain dry.
“Winds will become breezy in the wake of the front late tonight. We have issued a Wind Advisory for the coastal counties for frequent gusts over 30 mph, especially near the immediate coast. We have also issued a Gale Warning for tonight for southern Mobile Bay and the Gulf waters.
“This is our last scheduled email briefing. If conditions change ahead of the front, we will certainly let you know. As always, just let us know if you have any questions.
“Enjoy the cooler weather to come for the end of the week!”
