AMVETS appreciate local support

In this land of the free, we owe our freedom to veterans of the past and the present. In recognition of these veterans, AMVETS Post 23 is honoring these brave heroes with a welcome home cookout. Of course, these festivities could not be possible without the generous backing of a good number of community leaders and businesses. The cookout will be on Sat., March 25, at 203 MLK Drive in Opp.
In appreciation of their support for our veterans, their due recognition of these businesses is listed herein: Farmers IGA, Wyatt Funeral Home, Bob Taylor’s Carpet One, CCB Community Bank, Breedlove Building Supplies, Dr. Joshua Driver, Southeast Alabama Gas Company, PowerSouth, Larry’s Prescriptions, Southern Independent Bank, Opp/Micolas Credit Union, Comfort Care Hospice Dr. Jeff Worley, J.R.’s Lawnmower Service.
In addition, without the support of our local media outlets, AMVETS Post 23’s purpose for being could not have the community awareness.
Sincerely,
Dennis Cunningham
