Terry and Susan Taylor of Mechanicsville, Va., (formerly of Andalusia) are happy to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Abby Taylor, to Curt VanBrackle, son of Evan and Terri VanBrackle also of Mechanicsville.

The ceremony will take place on March 25, 2017, at Dover Hall Estate near Richmond, Va.

Both Abby and Curt are graduates of Hanover High School and Virginia Commonwealth University where Abby was a cheerleader and Curt played for the VCU Rams Soccer team.

The bride is the granddaughter of Hazel Griffin and the late Kervin Griffin of Andalusia, and the late Gordon and Syble Taylor of Andalusia.

The groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. David Maiden and the late Rebecca Maiden and Henry VanBrackle and the late Frances VanBrackle. Abby works at Short Pump Dental as a patient coordinator and Curt is Production Services Lead at Bank of America in Richmond, Va.

The couple will make their home in Mechanicsville, Va.
