Covington County Sheriff Dennis Meeks has confirmed the identity of the man shot at a residence on the Gantt Red Level Road on Monday evening.

Meeks said that the victim was 21-year-old Brady Dillon Page of Andalusia.

The department received the call around 6:30 p.m.

Meeks told the Star-News at the scene that the man’s body was found inside the home.

Meeks said Tuesday that Page was lying on the floor in a bedroom with injuries from an apparent gunshot wound.

Meeks said that Covington County Coroner Norman Hobson pronounced Page dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made in the case, Meeks said.

The sheriff’s office, Gantt Police Department and district attorney’s office continues to investigate the shooting.
