The victim in a Coffee County shooting that occurred late Monday afternoon is said to be an Andalusia man.

The incident occurred just before 5 p.m. in the Shiloh Community between New Brockton and Elba on U.S. 84.

The shooting is said to have occurred inside a vehicle when one of them shot the other with a long gun.

The Coffee County Sheriff’s Department has not released details of the incident, but family members reported to The Star-News that the man who died was from Andalusia.
