Saints fall to St. Johns River

LBWCC didn’t have answer for the St. Johns River pitching staff, as the Saints fell 6-0 on Friday night in Mariana, Fla.
St. Johns River to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after a walk, wild pitch and a single pushed across the first run of the game.
The game remained 1-0 until the bottom of the fifth inning when a home run from St. Johns River pushed the lead up to 2-0.
Two more runs came across to score for St. Johns River in the bottom of the seventh inning.
In the bottom of the eighth inning, following a lead-off walk another home run gave St. Johns River a 6-0 lead.
The Saints will be back in action today in Mariana against State College of Florida at 10 a.m.
