OPD arrests 2 for meth in traffic stop

Two people are behind bars and facing drug charges after being stopped at the intersection of the Opp bypass and Hwy. 52.
Opp Police Chief Mike McDonald said that around 1:48 a.m. Monday, a D-Shift officer stopped a silver in color Mitsubishi Outlander.
McDonald said that a subsequent investigation by officers and K9 Bella resulted in the arrests of Jimmy R. Grice, 47, of Dozier, and Sherrie M. Flowers, 40, of Bonifay, Fla.
The pair was charged with possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
McDonald said the case has been referred to the 22nd Judicial Drug Task Force, and the pair was booked into the Covington County Jail.
