A second round of weather is expected to pass through the area east of I-65 tonight, Covington County EMA director Susan Harris said.

Slides released by the National Weather Service predict storms between 6 p.m. and 3 a.m., with an enhanced risk of severe weather in Covington and surrounding counties.

Potential treats include damaging wind, large hail, and possible tornadoes.
