All-State football team announced at midnight

The 2016 Alabama Sports Writers Association’s All-State football teams will be announced on Christmas day.
The information is embargoed for release at midnight, when the names of local players who made the rosters will be made public on The Star-News’ web site.
The players will be featured in our Tuesday edition.
