The Opp Rattlesnake Rodeo Committee is calling on local businesses to help make the 2017 rodeo a success.

Mayor Becky Bracke said organizers are trying to make this rodeo the biggest and best rodeo yet, and that she would like to see more businesses help make that a reality.

Bracke said any amount of sponsorship is welcome.

“We would love to have more businesses involved in our rodeo,” she said. “We are thankful for the businesses who always support the rodeo.”

The upcoming rodeo is slated for the second weekend in March – the 11th and 12th, a Saturday and Sunday.

Entertainment has not yet been set for the rodeo; however, negotiations are under way.

Ticket prices are $10 per person and children will get in free with a paying adult.
