What a ride it has been this season watching the Andalusia Bulldogs compete on the gridiron.

I’ve been around a lot of football and also lettered three seasons for the Bulldogs during my high school days, but his has been by far the most impressive team I’ve seen hit the field.

This is going to be a team that I will truly miss covering on Friday nights in the fall.

I’ve watched this group of 23 seniors play since they were sophomores, and I’ve been blessed to get to know them on and off of the playing field.

For a lot of those guys, Friday night was the last time they will ever strap and hit the football field, but for some of them I know they are destined for great things at the next level.

This soon after your high school careers have ended, I know it can be hard to see anything but the hurt. One day, however, you will look back on this season and things you accomplished at Andalusia High School and you will no doubt be proud.
