The Pleasant Home Eagles (4-3) have a tough test this week as they hit the road to take on the undefeated Georgiana Panthers (8-0) on Friday night in Georgiana.

This is just the seventh meeting between the two squads, and the series is currently tied 3-3.

Pleasant Home comes into the game on three-game winning streak after topping Kinston 20-14 last Friday night.

While technically undefeated, Georgiana lost 34-20 to New Brockton in week one, but New Brockton was forced to forfeit the win due to a violation of the AHSAA’s transfer rule.

Georgiana has scored 40 or more points in seven-of-eight games, and have out scored their opponents  355-165.

Pleasant Home has put up good numbers this year through the first seven games of the year.

The Eagles have scored 215 points while giving up 229 points.

Kickoff between Georgiana and Pleasant Home will be at 7 p.m., Friday in Georgiana.
