There was a large crowd on hand Thursday night at Tiger Stadium in Straughn to “Meet the Tigers” before kicking off the 2016 football season.

“This is a fantastic turnout,” Straughn Quarterback Club president Mark Glisson said.

Chris Wilson introduced the high school players before they ran drills for the crowd.

“Normally, we would scrimmage for this, but since we are playing tomorrow I didn’t want to play two nights in a row.”
