An Andalusia man was indicted this month by the Escambia County grand jury following allegations he molested a child.

The three-count indictment charges Roman David Pierce with first-degree rape, sex abuse of a child less than 12 and enticing a child. It states Pierce enticed the child into a house and engaged in sexual intercourse.

Pierce, who was previously being held on child pornography charges, remains in the Escambia County Detention Center on a new $500,000 bond.
