Thunderstorms are expected to be in the forecast now through next week.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms tonight.

Saturday the chance increases to 50 percent, but diminishes to 20 percent.

Sunday there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Through Thursday of next week there is a 40 percent chance during the day.

Earlier this week, the city of Opp had flooding issues after six inches of rain fell in about two hours.
