Kimberly Hall Byrd is a native of Brewton and a 1986 graduate of T. R. Miller.

An alumni of Troy State University, Mrs. Byrd earned her bachelor’s of science, master’s of science and educational specialist degrees in elementary education.

Prior to her family relocating from Montg-omery to Andalusia, she taught first grade at Fitzpatrick Elementary School.

Mrs. Byrd has 24.5 years in education and has taught at every level except kindergarten and third grade.

She is currently teaching fifth / sixth grade history at Pleasant Home.

Mrs. Byrd is married to Dr. Zickeyous Byrd and they have three wonderful children.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling with her sorority- Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
