The Andalusia City Council on Tuesday certified the election of candidates unopposed in the Aug. 23 municipal election.

They include Mayor Earl Johnson, who will begin his fourth term in November; Councilman Will Sconiers; Councilman Ralph Wells; and Councilman Terry Powell. Board of Education member Amy Dugger also was reelected.
