Carver Community Center will host a “Meet the Candidates” night on Thurs., Aug. 11, at 6 p.m., for mayoral and council candidates for office in the City of Florala.

The candidates are invited to discuss their objectives for running and to answer audience questions. The session will be informal and everyone in Florala is invited to attend. Candidates running for mayor and council member seats are invited. Carver Community Center is located on the corner of Martin Luther King Street and Twelfth Avenue.
