Football season is around the corner, and the Andalusia Bulldogs are busy getting ready! A successful season takes the support of everyone in the community, so they need you!

On Fri., Aug. 12, the Quarterback Club will hold the first ever Red Hot Glow Run. Participants can run, walk, or jalk (jog/walk) in the 5K race that will begin and end in the stadium. There will also be a one mile Dog Trot in the stadium for kids 8 and under. Participants who pre-register will receive a glow T-shirt that will be great for Friday night football. Prizes will be given for the best glow outfits.

The race will begin at 8:30 p.m. in the stadium at the conclusion of Meet the Bulldogs and the Alumni vs. players football game. Race Crew will keep the official time. In order to be guaranteed a T-shirt, participants should pre-register by July 27th. Registration is available online at https://register.chronotrack.com/r/22528. Forms are available on the Andalusia Bulldog Red Hot Glow Run Facebook page. The form can be printed and mailed to the Andalusia Quarterback Club, P.O. Box 307, Andalusia, AL 36420. Registration and payment must be received by July 27. The race fee is $25 for pre-registration, $30 for race day registration, and $15 for the Dog Trot. Runners can register the day of the race beginning at 7:30 p.m. Race packets can be picked up on Thursday evening, Aug. 11, at 6:30 p.m. at the high school or Friday night prior to the race.
