We wanted to send out a huge thank you to everyone in Andalusia who came and watched our 4th of July parade. Thank you for being proud Americans and showing your patriotism at the parade. You were a great crowd and we appreciated the time you took out of your holiday to come and help us celebrate!

Also a huge thank you to the City of Andalusia and Mayor Earl Johnson for helping us host this great parade. And to the Andalusia Police Department specifically, for helping us organize the route. We know it adds to your duties on a working holiday, and we thank you for doing it with such willingness and skill. And to the Andalusia Fire Department for leading the parade – it adds so much to have you there and you, once again, did an awesome job, and thrilled the crowd. Thank you!

To the parade participants – you were phenomenal! Great, great job!!! You are truly wonderful representatives of what makes America unique – true patriots at heart!

A special shout out to those DAR Good Citizen recipients and DAR Youth Citizenship recipients – Taran Carrasco, Aneissa Coursey and Sami Stamnes – Anabell Bryant, Mitchell Sasser and Madison Mitchell (and any others who came without signs). You and your families should take special pride in knowing that your young American spirit is alive and well, and will take you far in life!
