Three more candidates have qualified to seek office in the City of Andalusia.

Amy Dugger qualified to seek reelection in District 2 of the Andalusia Board of Education, and Tommy Wright has qualified to seek election to the BOE in District 4.

Terry Powell qualified to seek reelection to the city council in District 5.

Earlier this week, Mayor Earl Johnson, District 1 Councilman Will Sconiers, District 2 Councilman Kennith Mount, and District 3 Councilwoman Hazel Griffin all qualified to seek reelection. Jared Eastman also qualified to seek election as mayor.

Qualifying ends on July 19. The election will be Tues., Aug. 23.
