APD searching for suspect

Andalusia police are looking for a suspect captured on camera whom they believe is responsible for attempting to break into a local ATM and who burglarized a local pharmacy.
Andalusia Police say that at approximately 4 a.m. Friday, an unidentified suspect, believed to be a black male, approximately 180-210 pounds and between 5-feet-10-inches tall and 6-feet-1-inches tall, attempted to break into the ATM machine at CCB Community Bank on East Three Notch Street.
APD Police Chief Paul Hudson said the subject was unsuccessful in his attempt to gain access to the ATM.
CCB employees reported damages to the police department on Friday morning.
No alarms were activated.
Additionally, the same person is believed to have been involved in a burglary at Bailey’s Pharmacy on the West Bypass, between 5 and 5:25 a.m., Friday.
The alarm company notified the APD at 5:30 a.m., and the APD was on scene at 5:33.
He was last seen wearing a dark-colored hoodie or jacket, a mask over his mouth and nose and gloves on his hands.
Police also believe the suspect was in possession of a small tote or duffel bag and a yellow pry bar.
