Storybook lovers get ready!

The 45th annual Coterie Club of Andalusia Storybook Festival, “A Magical Menagerie,” will be next Saturday.

Gates will open at 9 a.m.

The event is free to the public and will be held at Springdale Estate.

Additional items and concessions will be available for purchase.

The event features the following:

First set of stories and crafts:

• The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson of the Andalusia Theater Department and Cavelle Jones.

• I Really Like Slop by Mo Willems by Coterie.

• What the Sleepy Animals Do at the Audubon Zoo, Pleasant Home Theater Department by Jennifer Withrow.

• Crafts – Gruffalo masks and frog puppets

 

Second set of stories and crafts:

• Don’t Let the Pigeon Stay Up Late by Mo Willems, Coterie

• The Big Wide-Mouthed Frog by Ana Martin Larranga, Coterie

• The Snatchabook by Helen Docherty, Coterie

• Dooby Dooby Moo, the Pleasant Home Theater Department, Jennifer Withrow.
