Strong shooting lifts Nets to victory

It took a minute for them to get going, but the Nets knocked off the Bulls 22-6 Thursday night at the old Andalusia Middle School gym.
The Nets’ Kendrell Moxley got a bucket to start the game and gave his team a 2-1 lead heading into the second period.
Conner Dalton put the Nets up 3-1 with a free throw to start the second period.
Moxley then made a strong drive through contact for a layup to put the Nets up 5-1.
As time wound down in the second, Moxley popped a 3-pointer to put the Nets up 10-1 at halftime.
Moxley picked up 4 points in the third period to put the Nets up 16-4 heading into the final period.
The Bulls continued to battle, but couldn’t muster much away from the Nets’ defense.
Moxley led the Nets with 15 points in the win.
Tycameron Jackson had 9 points for the Bulls.
