The NAACP is encouraging locals to cast their vote in the upcoming elections, and to help assist with that, the organization is holding a voter registration drive this weekend.

“It will take place on Hardin Street down below the Hardin Street Community Center,” said NAACP President Aaron Bogen.

Bogen said the drive will take place from noon until 4 p.m.

“We will do this every Saturday through the last of February,” Bogen said. “We want everybody to register to vote in our area, and register to be a member of the NAACP.”

Bogen said it’s important for locals to make a difference by registering to vote and casting a vote.
