The two Republican candidates for Covington County Commission Chairman will participate in a debate at 1 this afternoon, Sat., Jan. 9, at Joe’s Barista.

Incumbent Chairman Bill Godwin is seeking re-election, and is being challenged by Greg White, who previously chaired the commission.

The is being organized by Buster Boyd. It is free, but seating is limited.

Godwin and White will be on the ballot on Tues., March 1, 2016.
