Opp Police Lt. Corey Boothe & Officer Spencer Youmans were given the Medal of Valor Friday afternoon. Both. Boothe and Youmans were awarded the Medal of Valor for exceptionally meritorious service and exceptional bravery when on July 26, they protected members of the public that were in the immediate area as well as motor vehicle traffic that was approaching the area.
