First Baptist Church of Andalusia honored veterans in Sunday morning’s worship service by recognizing them publicly and presenting them with a special coin that was minted in their honor. There were veterans present from every war from WW II to the War in Afghanistan.

Dr. Fred Karthaus, pastor of FBC, led a prayer of thanksgiving for their service to God and country.

The church invites any veteran to join them on Veterans Day, this Wed., Nov. 11, at 5 p.m. for supper in the church fellowship hall. All veterans eat free.
