An Andalusia woman is being held on domestic violence charges after cutting a man several times.

Andalusia Police officers responded to a 9-1-1 call in the 400 block of Pugh Street at about 6:45 Friday morning where a man reportedly had been stabbed.

The incident turned out to be a domestic incident. The victim, identified as 55-year-old Richard Cecil Gradeless of Andalusia, was not stabbed but had sustained several cut wounds to his back and abdomen that were not life-threatening. He was transported to Andalusia Regional Hospital by Advanced EMS.

The perpetrator was identified as 29-year-old Rachel Elizabeth Frank of Andalusia. Frank was arrested and charged with second-degree domestic violence. She is being held in the Covington County jail on a $10,000 bond.
