The No. 5 ranked Pleasant Home Lady Eagles swept Autaugaville in the opening round of the AHSAA Class 1A Super Regional Friday in Montgomery.

Pleasant Home came out blazing in the opening set and won 25-5.

In the second set, Autaugaville put up a little more of fight, but the Lady Eagles rallied to a 25-15 win.

Needing a win to sweep and advance, the Lady Eagles blew past Autaugaville 25-7 in the third set.

The Lady Eagles move on the second round of the South Super Regionals where they will take on Wadley tomorrow at 9 a.m.
