The Straughn Tigers (1-2, 1-1) hit the road again tonight as the head to Montgomery to take on Class 4A, Region 2 opponent Trinity (2-2, 1-1).
The Tigers are coming off their first win of the young season after a hard-fought region victory over the Headland Rams.
This will only be the third time that Straughn and Trinity have clashed on the gridiron with Straughn winning the first two including a 46-31 win last season.
Trinity picked up its second win of the season last Friday night with a 43-8 stomping of Region 2 opponent Bullock County.
It will take at least four region wins for either team to secure a playoff spot, and this game will certainly go a long way in determining who is sitting at home in November and who is making a run in the playoffs.
