The Andalusia City Council on Tuesday established three members to the Public Educational Building Authority it created two weeks ago.
The authority, the brain child of the Andalusia Football Foundation, will have a five-year plan and goals of renovating the municipal football stadium, upgrading sports fields, and modernizing and refurbishing the auditorium, Mayor Earl Johnson told council members. This Authority will raise funds for the proposed work.
The three members will serve six-year, staggered terms. The council appointed Steve Posey to a term that expires in 2017; Paula Sue Duebelt to a term that expires in 2019; and Dr. Charles Eldridge to a term that expires in 2021. Henceforth, all appointments will be for six years.
