SARA honors military, veterans with dinner

Current military members and veterans took part in the South Alabama Regional Airport’s military and veterans appreciation day on Wednesday.
Free steak dinners were served to the military members all day from the airport’s café at the flight operations helicopter refueling station.
Throughout the day, three small engine plane pilots — Donald Barton, Cary Langley and John Roberts — took willing participants for approximately 30-minute plane rides.
