Almost 10 inches of rain fell on Covington County during the month of July, according to the Choctawhatchee, Pea and Yellow Rivers Watershed Management Authority.

For the month, 6.16 inches fell at the Yellow River Highway 55 location, and 3.75 inches fell at the Highway 84 location.

The highest month on record was in April, when 16.38 inches fell.

Total rainfall for the year is 56.24 inches in the county.
