Two people were injured in a single vehicle crash on Oakey Streak Road near Hwy. 29, yesterday morning, according to ALEA officials.

The incident occurred around 5:21 a.m.

According to ALEA officials, the driver and passenger, who have not yet been identified, were both injured.

One was taken to Baptist South and the other to Andalusia Regional Hospital.

Officials expected both to be released from hospitals on Wednesday.

The wreck closed both lanes of Hwy. 29, for an air ambulance to land.

ALEA continues to investigate the incident.
