Forty-four motor vehicle wrecks with 26 injuries and no fatalities occurred in Covington County from March 2 to April 20, according to Alabama State Trooper Kevin Cook.

Recently, there has been a high volume of accidents in the county.

From March 2-31, there were 26 accidents recorded with 18 injuries. From April 1-20, 18 accidents with eight injuries occurred.
