Christians around the world are expecting the return of Jesus for His saints anytime.

We have been warned throughout the Bible we must be ready for His coming.

One would think the vast majority of people would be preparing and anxiously awaiting His return, however the church for the most part is asleep.

The majority are putting forth more effort to live on Earth than to live in heaven.

How can we know Jesus is coming?

The Bible tells us in Luke 21:25, “there shall be signs.”

Never in the history of man has there been so many signs at once signaling His coming.

Before Jesus went back to heaven, He told His followers that He would return and His messengers have been carrying that message faithfully to every generation.

I know in my own lifetime signs have occurred that pointed me back to scripture assuring me, He is coming.

I am convinced now more than ever that His coming is at the door.

Signs of His coming are happening in almost every area of our life.

Some of the signs Jesus gave us were signs in the sun, the moon and the stars…. Much is being said today concerning “The Blood Moons,” books are written, sermons preached, and I have no doubt that these messages are on target.

“On the earth distress of nations, with perplexity the sea and the waves roaring.” Luke 21:25. Never have we seen so much distress of the nations of the world with the masses of people groaning under distress.

Every class of people are affected by this distress, the poor, the middle class and the wealthy.

“Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth.” Luke 21:26.

Businesses are failing and there are struggles in most every household just to keep up with their pace.

Businessmen and entrepreneurs are afraid to take a risk and venture out.

Many of our states are broke and in deficet with no way to continue without imposing higher taxes on the already oppressed. No longer can we trust Washington for a true analysis of the condition of our nation for fear of an economic stand still.

Nation is against nation, Israel is compassed about with armies around the world that hate her and these are all signs He is coming. Jesus said in Luke 21:28, “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up and lift up your heads for your redemption draweth nigh.”

Be ready don’t let any thing cause you to miss His coming. Take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting and drunkenness and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.” Luke 21:34.
