DONNA WEAVER WAITE

Mrs. Donna Weaver Waite, 40, of Andalusia, passed away on Tues., April 14, 2015, at Mizell Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow, Fri., April 17, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Benji Jordan officiating. Interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30-8 tonight at Foreman Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband, James R. Waite Jr. of Andalusia; daughters, Morgan LeeAnn Waite and Lauryn Emilee Waite, both of Andalusia; mother, Patricia Weaver of Andalusia; brother and sister-in-law, Donnie and Danielle Weaver of Andalusia; nephew, Taylor Weaver of Panama City, Fla.; niece, Paige Ratcliffe of Andalusia; and a host of cousins.

Pallbearers will include Mark Craig, Neal Feagin, Terry King, Adam Turner, Tony Kirkland and Preston Weaver.

CHARLOTTE PRITCHETT DONNENWIRTH

Charlotte Pritchett Donnenwirth, beloved wife of Robert “Bob” Donnenwirth for 57 years, passed from this life to her eternal home on Sun., Feb. 15, 2015.

Charlotte, 79, was born in Andalusia on Nov. 2, 1935, to Coleman and Minnie-Lee Pritchett.

She graduated from Andalusia High School in 1954 and Alabama College in 1958.

After meeting in college, Charlotte and Bob married on Dec. 22, 1957 at First United Methodist Church in Andalusia. Together they raised three children, Diana, Christy and Andy.

After touring the world in the military, Bob and Charlotte retired to Lillian.

Charlotte was a charter member of Lillian Methodist Church, Lillian Lodge 924 support group, Bay Belles, University of Montevallo Alumni Association and Medical Technologist Association.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Coleman Daniel Pritchett and Minnie-Lee Langford Pritchett; brother, Billy Pritchett; and a granddaughter, Reese Lane Statum.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert “Bob” G. Donnenwirth; daughters and son-in-law, Diana and Bobby Statum and Christy and David Holt; son, Andy Donnenwirth; grandchildren, Daniel and Ashley Statum, Joshua Statum and Tiffany Statum, Christopher and Tiffany Bell, Andrew and Stacey Bell, LeRoy and Kim Holt, Raeann Donnenwirth and Alex Donnenwirth; and great-grandchildren, Abby Statum and Payton Bell.

WIILLIAM BOYD RAY PASS

William Boyd Ray Pass, 72, of Andalusia, passed away on Mon., April 13, 2015.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Garrett Pass; his parents, William A.D. and Hazel Stanford Pass; and his infant sister, Marie Pass.

Boyd was a native of Franklin County, Ala., and a 1961 graduate of Russellville High School. He attended Auburn University, and in 1971 received a bachelor of science degree in forestry. He began his career with Hammermill Paper in Selma, and moved his family from Mississippi to Andalusia with Tennessee River Pulp and Paper in 1979. He retired after owning his own forestry consulting business — Pass Land and Timber Company — for more than 20 years. Boyd was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Andalusia, as well.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Shannon Pass and David Brown of Birmingham; his son and daughter-in-law, William Garrett and Laura Pass of Prattville; his granddaughter, Mildred Kate Pass; and grandson, William Webb Pass; his brother and sister-in-law, Tommy Bernard and Martha Pass of Killen; and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow, Fri., April 17, at the First Baptist Church of Andalusia with Dr. Fred Karthaus officiating. Interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Foreman Funeral Home and at the church one hour prior to services.

Pallbearers will be Alex Boldog, Larry Avery, Duane Mooney, Bill Rabren, Joe McDanal and Neal Dansby.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Andalusia Christian Service Center Food Pantry, located at 403 South Three Notch Street, Andalusia, AL 36420.

JAMES CANTIE MITCHELL

James Cantie Mitchell, of Rt. 1 in McKenzie, departed this earth for his heavenly home on Mon., April 13, 2015 at age 93.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Lugene Mitchell; his loving wife, Evelyn Kemp Mitchell; and his beloved grandson, Steven K. Mitchell.

He is survived by his sons, James Cordel Mitchell (Carolyn) and Jerry K. Mitchell (Francis); four grandsons, John W. Mitchell (Angie), Craig Mitchell (Amanda) and James Christopher Mitchell (Melody); five great-grandchildren, Alex Mitchell, Ramsey Mitchell, Matthew Mitchell, Andrew Mitchell and Liberty Grace Mitchell.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Thurs., April 16, 2015, in the Keahey Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Larry Smith will be officiating and special music will be provided by the Smith Family. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service in the Keahey Funeral Home chapel with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

DAVID F. WIGGINS

Mr. David F. Wiggins, 54, of Andalusia, passed away on Mon., April 13, 2015, at the Andalusia Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today, Thurs., April 16, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Dennis Knowles and Brother Carl Douglass officiating. Interment will follow in Oakey Ridge Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Lynda Wiggins of Andalusia; son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Paige Myrick of Pell City; a daughter, Ashley Myrick of Andalusia; grandchildren, Katelynn Myrick, Aime Myrick and Holdyn Anderson; a great-grandchild, Layton Fleming; and his father and mother, Fletcher and Carol Wiggins of Andalusia.

He is preceded in death by his son, Chris Myrick.

TEMPIE LEE POPE

Mrs. Tempie Lee Pope passed away on Jan. 28, 2015. She was born on Nov. 13, 1914, to Jake Ramer and Savannah Odom Ramer in Andalusia. She was the only survivor of 11 children.

She married Willie Roy Pope and they had three children, Ida Mae Welborne, Bonnie O. Fuller and Manuel L. Pope.

Tempie celebrated her 100th birthday on Nov. 13, 2014, at the Andalusia Manor with family and friends.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Manuel L. and Bonnie Pope of Wyoming; son-in-law, Ben Fuller of Andalusia; 10 grandchildren; and lots of great and great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held in Carolina Church on Sat., April 18, 2015, at 10 a.m. with Keith Tankersley officiating.
