The Red Level Tigers fought hard against the Fruitdale Pirates, but lost 26-6.
“We played well as a team, and we played better in the second half than in the first,” said Tigers’ head coach David Godwin.
The Pirates won their region and were every bit as good as advertised, but the Tigers held their own for most of the game.
“It was a good team effort tonight against a very good team that won their region,” said Godwin. “We played four quarters with the region champs, so I’m proud of the effort.”
Dylan Jordan threw a 65-yard touchdown to Wes Holley for the Tigers only score.
