Straughn stayed at No. 6 in Class 4A on this week’s Alabama Sports Writers Association football poll, which was released today.

The Tigers demolished Headland 58-15 last week and improved to 2-1 overall on the season.

Previously, SHS was ranked as high as No. 3 before it fell 10-7 to St. James in week two.
