Red Level Elementary School students were among those in the county to begin the school year on Monday.

Covington County Schools started class yestersday, which means students from Fleeta, Pleasant Home, WS Harlan, Florala and Straughn also began.

RLES Principal Chris Thomasson reported a good first day back, and said more students were enrolling throughout the day Monday.
