Plans are under way for the fourth annual Crossover Auction, to be held Aug. 23, at the Grace Building of Opp First United Methodist Church.
Organizer Janice Moody said doors will open at 4:30 p.m.for participants to view auction items.
Hamburgers and hot dogs may be purchased from 4:30 p.m. until 6 p.m.
The auction will begin at 6 p.m.
Those who wish to donate items for the auction should take them to Crossover Ministry located at 508 Highway 52 East in Opp.
“We really need Auburn memorabilia,” she said. “We have Alabama memorabilia.”
Help with larger items can be arranged by calling Crossover at 493-1030 to arrange a pick up time, Moody said.
Moody said that Mark Kyser will serve as the auctioneer.
The mission of Crossover Ministry is to provide a Christian recovery solution for substance abuse and addiction through the use of education, work, counseling, partnering with churches and the knowledge of Jesus Christ; that will help people rebuild their lives and their communities.
“This is always one of our biggest fundraisers,” Moody said. “We would like for everyone to come out.”
