The South Alabama Gun Club’s 31st annual Gun & Knife Show will be held Aug. 16-17 at the Kiwanis Building.

“We have a lot of different vendors, some of which sell different types of hand guns and long guns,” club president Ab St. John said.

St. John also said the show will also cater to those who like leather goods, as well.

St. John said he doesn’t know how many vendors will be at the show, but 170 tables have been rented out to the vendors. Last year, the show booked 172 tables for vendors.

“We’re hoping to have a good turnout,” he said. “We usually do.”

Additionally, St. John said there is going to be a car show.

“We really hope you come out and see the show,” St. John said.

Event hours are Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., and on Sunday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

General admission is $6. Children under 12 get in free, but must be accompanied by an adult.
