Mizell Memorial Hospital has not had a reported case of meningitis, administrator Jana Wyatt told The Star-News last night.

WSFA and other media outlets reported last night that health officials were waiting on confirmation of an infection after a patient presented with symptoms at Mizell.

However, Wyatt said the MMH staff has not seen a case.
