Andalusia and Straughn are in the top 10 in Class 4A of the Alabama Sports Writers Association’s preseason football poll, which was released today.

The Bulldogs sit at No. 9, while the Tigers are five notches higher are No. 4.

AHS finished its 2013 campaign 8-3 and in the first round of the 4A playoffs. SHS finished 10-3 and in the state semifinals in Class 3A for the second straight year.

Leeds, UMS-Wright, Dadeville, Oneonta, Saks, Thomasville, Deshler and Trinity round out the top 10 in Class 4A.
