Randy Givens of Andalusia and Shelia Givens of Opp are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kayla Givens, to Michael Snyder, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Snyder of Millbrook.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Margaret Smith of Opp and the late John Eugene Smith and the late Martha Givens of Andalusia.

She is a 2013 graduate of Opp High School.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Snyder of Tuscaloosa, Sue Brown of Tuscaloosa and Pat Gignac of Millbrook.

He is a 2013 graduate of Stanhope Elmore High School in Millbrook.

The wedding is set for Aug. 9, 2014, at 2 p.m., at Babbie Baptist Church in Andalusia.
