South beats North 20-12 in All-star football game

Andalusia’s Montel Lee records 12 tackles, earns MVP honors
Andalusia’s Montel Lee recorded 12 tackles and made two big plays late to help the South All-Stars beat the North 20-12 tonight in the AHSAA’s North-South All-star football game at the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
With the North threatening late in the fourth with less than a minute to go and on third down, Lee made a good defensive stop on the left edge.
Lee had seven solo tackles, five assists, one sack for a loss and had five tackles for a loss of 15 yards.
After the game, Lee said he wanted to make sure to represent AHS coach Brian Seymore in the best possible way.
Straughn’s Devin Scott rushes 23 yards on 10 carries.
Andalusia’s Michael McCalman had three assisted tackles on special teams play.
