CCYAA holds 1st indoor tournament, a success

Covington County’s Youth Archery Association held its first indoor archery tournament Thursday night at Sporting Lifestyles in Andalusia.
Archers competed on teams in four different divisions and the results from the tournament are listed below by division:
Division 1
Red Level’s Walker Simmons, first place with 118 points and five bulls eyes;
Straughn’s Kayla Stephens, second place with 55 points; and,
Red Level’s Wyatt Simmons, third place with 30 points.
Division 2
Straughn’s Logan Cobb, first place with 100 points;
Pleasant Home’s Hunter Baldwin, second place with 89 points; and,
Straughn’s Hunter Stephens, third place with 73 points.
Division 3
Straughn’s Hunter Cauley, first place with 135 points and three bulls eyes;
Straughn’s Dylan Tyree, second place with 133 points and four bulls eyes; and,
Pleasant Home’s Austin Carter, third place with 131 points and three bulls eyes.
Division 4
Hunter Linzy, first place with 135 points.
