CAROLYN JACKSON
Carolyn Jackson, 69, of Andalusia, passed away Sun., June 1, 2014, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held today, Tues., June 3, at 2 p.m. at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Benji Jordan will officiate. Special music will be provided by the family. Burial will follow in Buck Creek Baptist Church cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.
Jackson is survived by her children, Wayne (Charlotte) Jackson of Andalusia, Dewanna (Walt) Henderson of Andalusia, Rhonda (Rick) Ivey of Troy and Lynn (Michael) Bulger of Andalusia; grandchildren, Landon Jackson, Krystal Henderson, John Ivey, Kim Evon (Charlie Nowling) and Amanda (Jarred) Norman; great-grandchildren, Ashley Bulger, Jeff Bulger, Camden Jackson, Alex Evon, Blayne Evon and Hayden Norman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommie D. and Velma Viola Jackson; a son, Jeffery Lynn Jackson; and a great-grandson, Landon Blake Jackson.
She was a lifelong resident of Covington County and a long-term member of West Highland Assembly of God Church. She was a seamstress at Covington Casket Factory until she retired.
MICHAEL TERRANCE O’ROURKE
Michael Terrance O’Rourke, 75, of Andalusia, passed away Sat., May 31, 2014, at Andalusia Manor.
Funeral services will be today, Tues., June 3, at 2 p.m. from Foreman Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Billy Boles officiating. Interment will follow at New Home Cemetery.
O’Rourke is survived by daughters, Lori Robinson of Andalusia and Leah (Jeff) Hudson of Mobile; sons, Michael (Sarah) O’Rourke Jr. of Wing, Sean (Nancy) O’Rourke of Andalusia and Brien (Latoya) O’Rourke of Crossville, Tenn.; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Edward B. O’Rourke Jr. of Warner Robbins, Ga.; and a sister, Mary Ellen Hartness of Cullman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne O’Rourke; son, Tommy Robinson; and sister, Edna Pehl.

LLOYD M. BROOKS
Lloyd M. Brooks, 67, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sun., June 1, 2014. Brooks was born in Andalusia. He lived in Morgan County, where he raised Santa Gertrudis beef cattle from 1982 until this year. He was an Elder at Twickenham Church of Christ for 20 years. He received degrees from Auburn University and UAH, served in the U.S. Army and worked as a mechanical engineer for the U.S. Army Civil Service for 32 years. After retirement, he worked for AMTEC and was a program manager for Sierra Lobo.
Brooks was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Mittie Brooks and sister, Linda Brooks.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Margie; daughter, Bunny Brooks; son, Mike (Whitney) Brooks; granddaughter, Mattie Brooks; brother, Lehn (Diana) Brooks; and other loving family members.
Visitation will be from today, Tues., June 3, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Twickenham Church of Christ. A memorial service will be held on Wed., June 4 at 11 a.m. at the church
The family requests that donations be made in his name to the Hacienda of Hope, c/o Twickenham Church of Christ or to the SCT Patient Housing at Vanderbilt University.
DANIEL SAMPSON JACKSON
Daniel Sampson Jackson, of Greenville, S.C. died Fri., May 30, 2014.
Born in Lake County, Fla., Jackson was the son of the late Alton and Ester Lee Smithart Jackson. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired from Michelin after many years of service.
Jackson is survived by his daughter, Kayhlan M. (Lee) Lyda; sons, Joseph D. Jackson and Michael C. (Summer Rain) Jackson, all of Townville, S.C.; grandchildren, Kyle Suttle, Cody Lee Jackson, Lilly Ann Jackson and Ivy Marie Jackson; and sister, Idoma Jackson of Greenville.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Earnest L. Jackson and grandson, Nicholas A. King.
Memorial services will be held today, Tues., June 3, at 2 p.m. at the Mackey Mortuary. The family will receive friends following the service at the mortuary.
