Five teacher positions with possible head football coaching duties are open at Florala High School, according to Covington County School’s website.
Former FHS head football and baseball coach Bubba Nall resigned from his positions late last week, just after the school year ended.
The teacher positions are for a collaborative special education 7-12 teacher and or a special education P-12 teach, English teacher, general science teacher, social science teacher and math teacher with a possible head football coaching duty attached at the school.
The Wildcats are in search for their fifth head football coach in six years.
According to Star-News archives, Ariton Hudson served as the FHS head football coach from 1993-2007.
Since then, football coaches have been at the school for an average of 1.5 seasons.
The new FHS football coach will inherit a team that finished 6-4 in 2013 and missed the state playoffs by a narrow margin.
Attempts to reach school officials and administration were unsuccessful.
The job posting went live the same day Nall resigned from the school.
